The world—specifically nature! Aside from my studio, there is no place I would rather be than out exploring the local parks, gardens and arboretums.
My philosophy revolves around using my medium (paint) to RE-create the world on the two-dimensional surface. My focus is often on color, value, and mark to create my version of the beauty in the world.
While I've been painting for a very long time and have been awarded numerous awards—one of my highest honors was in 2018, when InLiquid invited me to hold my first solo show.
