Teaching Experience
A full-time artist Visual Artist and part-time Art Instructor, I am a creative and passionate instructor experienced in a variety of artistic mediums (graphic design, drawing, painting, art history) and educational environments (college, k-12, Adult, studio and lecture), I am dedicated to fostering a student-centered classroom environment based on mutual respect and collaboration and am committed to helping students identify and develop their own passions while becoming successful and confident in their artistic abilities.
Adjunct Faculty at The Michener Art Museum
2019-Current — Instruct teen students in drawing and acrylic painting. Responsibilities include curriculum development, syllabus creation, class instruction and presentation of materials.

2003-2004 — Adjunct Faculty, Graphic Design at Norwalk Community College
Courses Taught: Photoshop and Illustrator (Collegiate level Art and Graphic Design Students).
2019 — Teaching Artist at Laboratory Charter School
Instruct STEAM Drawing and Painting to a diverse population of 5th-8th grade students. Responsibilities include creating strategies to respond effectively to a wide range of abilities and personalities, and establishing clear objectives and learning outcomes for lessons and projects.
1998-2000 — Teaching Assistant at Wright State University
Courses Assisted: Art History/Survey of Western Art.

Awarded three Teaching Assistantships; served under two professors as Art History TA.
